Police say a 32 year old woman who was killed in a single vehicle rollover on the southwest side this morning lost control of her SUV because she was looking at her cell phone while she was driving.
Aliza Medina was driving down Loop 410 near Valley Hi and when she looked up from her cell phone, her car had drifted off the road into the center median.
Police say when she tried to get back onto the highway, her car hit a cable and the SUV rolled over.
She was not wearing a seat belt and was thrown from the SUV. She was rushed to University Hospital but was dead on arrival.
Two children who were in the SUV with her were not seriously hurt.
