October is starting off strong with lots of top-notch fun this week. Grab tickets to shows or hit up some free festivals around town.

14th Annual Spurs Pep Rally @ Josephine Street Cafe (Wednesday). All aboard the Spurs Bus, the iconic cafe's 42-year tradition of taking fans to home games continues this year as the restaurant readies for the hometown NBA team's 2021-2022 season. Free to ride, first come, first served.

Fat Tony, Cadence Weapon @ Paper Tiger (Thursday). Houston rapper Fat Tony is returning to SA with Canada's "most creative" rapper Cadence Weapon for a special outdoor performance on their joint Fall Tour.

Lil Jon @ Smoke BBQ + Skybar (Friday). Atlanta hype man and hip-hop legend will be playing a DJ set featuring all of his classics + today's hits. This event is strictly 18+ and includes local DJs, food stations, cocktails, and more. Smoke will also attempt to break the record for most shots of all-time in San Antonio.

San Antonio Beer Festival @ Crockett Park (Saturday). The city's largest and original beer fest is back for its 15th annual celebration at a brand new location. Attendees will have the chance to sample from 400+ craft and premium beers from all over the world, plus enjoy food from local restaurants, games, art, live music, vendors, and more. Spooktacular Monster Dash @ St. Mary's University (Saturday). The annual race + event StMU 5K for the Neighborhood is back for its 8th year of hosting students, alumni, faculty, staff, and community members to run or walk across the beautiful St. Mary's University Campus. Costumes are encouraged, kids 12 and under get in for free, all registrants receive a T-shirt after sign-up, plus participants are invited to celebrate afterward with food, fun, music, and more.

Monarch Butterfly and Pollinator Festival @ Confluence Park (Saturday). Residents are invited to the 6th annual festival to celebrate the monarch butterfly migration season with in-person tagging demos by trained docents, kayaking and story walks, educational exhibits, entertainment, fun, food, and more.

San Antonio FC vs. FC Tulsa @ Toyota Field (Saturday). Join SAFC for a special Breast Health Awareness Night plus a chance to #Defend210 from Oklahoma rivals. We're also giving away a 4-pack of tickets!

Burton Ball @ The Rock Box. The longest-running Tim Burton-themed event in TX is back this weekend for its 10-year anniversary celebration with Mark Holton aka 'Francis' from Pee Wee's Big Adventure as the Guest of Honor, plus spooky dance music, creepy decor, film projections, food, live Burton themed art, vendors, themed drinks, costume contests, and so much more.

Kane Brown @ AT&T Center. Multi-platinum, 5x AMA award-winning, genre-bending country singer Kane Brown is bringing his Blessed & Free Tour to a (nearly sold out) arena for one night only.

Brujas Who Brunch @ Hi-Tones (Sunday). A Very That showcase coined "for the necias that want tacos with their mimosas" featuring over 15 San Antonio vendors that range from food, apparel, accessories, and more. First 50 attendees will also receive a swag bag that includes a raffle card for a chance to win door prizes.
