If you want to be strong physically, you have to work out and keep working out.  Same for being strong mentally.  You have to work at it.

Don’t Waste Time Feeling Sorry for Yourself

Mentally strong people take responsibility for their role in life and understand that life isn’t always easy or fair.

Don’t Shy Away from Change

Welcome positive change and be willing to be flexible. Understand that change is inevitable and believe in your abilities to adapt.

Don’t Waste Energy on Things They Can’t Control

You won’t hear a mentally strong person complaining over lost luggage or traffic jams. Instead, they focus on what they can control in their lives. They recognize that sometimes, the only thing they can control is their attitude.

Don’t Worry About Pleasing Everyone

You don’t need to, nor can you, please everyone all the time. Don’t be afraid to say no or speak up when necessary. Be kind and fair, and realize sometimes there’s nothing you can do if people get upset.
