Today is International Women's Day (it's also International Women's MONTH).  Tomorrow is National Barbie Day.  This is a wonderful combo of both!

In honor of #InternationalWomensDay, we are committed to shining a light on empowering female role models past and present in an effort to inspire more girls. Join the conversation by sharing your role models using #MoreRoleModels.

I love Barbies!  I played with them so much as a kid.  Now as an adult, I collect them.  I don't have rooms and rooms filled with them or anything like that, but I have a few that are special for one reason or another.

These dolls immortalize legends like artist Frida Kahlo, Amelia Earhart, and NASA’s Katherine Johnson are included, as well as modern day role-models: Olympic snowboarding champ Chloe Kim, conservationist Bindi Irwin, and Wonder Woman director Patty Jenkins.

The "Inspiring Women" dolls ($30 each) are available for pre-sale online now, and you can snag one in stores on March 8 (for Kahlo and Earhart) and May 10 (for Johnson).
