Apple Might Be Renaming All The Upcoming iPhones

Iphone 7 Is Presented in Madrid

Big changes might be coming to Apple in the very near future. The tech company makes announcements about future product releases every September, however, this year they may throw consumers for a loop.

Among Apple's upcoming releases are, unsurprisingly, new updates to the iPhone. French outlet iPhoneSoft reports, though, these iPhones will be released with brand new names. Last year was the first time Apple has moved away from including numbers in the product's title with the release of iPhone X.

It looks like the next big change Apple will implement is combining numbers and actual names in the new iPhone's titles. For example, they're reportedly set to release the iPhone 11 Pro and iPhone 11 Pro Max. Try saying that last one ten times fast. The new phones are expected to join Apple’s lineup this fall, replacing the iPhone XS and XS Max.

There's also whispers that the iPhoneXR will be getting revived with the latest update, though that remains unconfirmed. It's rumored it's new name will be iPhone Lite. We'll just have to wait until September to find out if the rumors are true.
