Man Shot Four Times On City's South Side

San Antonio Police say a man was shot on the city's south side this morning.

It happened about 5:30 a.m. on Southcross Boulevard near Tupper Avenue.

Officers say the victim was shot four times and rushed to a hospital in critical condition. Investigators say it appears he was shot as he was in the process of leaving his house to go to work.

A suspect is in custody. Police say the two men knew each other and it appears the victim may have dated the suspect's sister in the past.

An investigation continues.
