Area Universities to Receive Federal Funds for New Campus Facilities

Some $50 million in funding from the American Rescue Plan Act is heading for area universities to build new facilities on campus. The funding will help UTSA build an Innovation, Entrepreneurship and Careers Building. UT Health will build a Center for Health Excellence with a research facility for Alzheimer's and Texas A-and-M Sam Antonio will construct a new education and public health building.
