A 90-year-old Catherine Ritchie was getting ready for bed at her house in Oklahoma when a fire started in her bedroom. She couldn’t find her way out of the house because of all the smoke. Fortunately for her, a group of four teens were outside on their way to a convenience store when they smelled the smoke and then heard the house alarm, so they rushed to help. 14-year-old Nick Byrd managed to get inside through a back door, found Catherine lost in the smoke, and got her outside safely.
