Why Those With Dyslexia Can Be Top Achievers Like Einstein, Da Vinci, Jobs

Here's today's feel-good story:

Some of the greatest minds were affected by dyslexia, including Leonardo da Vinci, Albert Einstein, Pablo Picasso, and Sir Stephen Hawking. This also includes billionaires like Steve Jobs and Sir Richard Branson who headed some of the world's top companies.

Scientists have discovered that those with dyslexia have special skills like problem-solving and adapting to challenges. Dyslexia allows those that have it to explore the unknown.

“The deficit-centered view of dyslexia isn’t telling the whole story,” said lead author Dr. Helen Taylor, of the University of Cambridge. “This research proposes a new framework to help us better understand the cognitive strengths of people with dyslexia.”
