Stress Getting To You?

We're under stress right now. Worried about family, worried about finances, worried about your health, worried about what the future holds. That's why you need to deal with your stress.

Keep a routine. Every day take a shower, get dressed, have breakfast, even if you're staying at home.

Take time for yourself. Maybe it's a walk, or meditation, or a hobby.

Relax. Take a bath, listen to music, or read a book.

When you start thinking negatively, focus on the good things in your life. Ask yourself, how can I turn this into something that’s positive and find a way to spin it positively?

If someone in your household is struggling, try to help break the cycle.

If you have a friend or family member that doesn't live with you, reach out to them. Call or Skype/Facetime or Zoom.

A new app called “Quarantine Chat” has also been created amidst the chaos. You can connect and talk with strangers when you’re feeling alone or bored.

And if you need real help, seek a professional. You can also call the a national Mental Health Hotline 1-800-950-NAMI (6264) or 1-800-662-HELP (4357).
