Get Fit Even Without The Gym

Gyms are slowly reopening. Maybe you don't want to go yet, or you can't. Or you don't want the added expense of a gym membership right now. So how do you get in shape?

Go live. Some gyms have live classes. Also browse Youtube.

Try something new. If you’ve always walked in the neighborhood, try hiking.If you always run, trying biking.

Get moving. If you're sitting at a desk (at home or at work), schedule 5- to 10-minute breaks at the top of every hour. And consider going for a mid-afternoon stroll.

Get creative with equipment. Chances are, you have a bunch of items around your house that can serve as exercise equipment. Use cans of food, or fill up gallon milk containers with water for weights.

Download an app. There are so many that will help with exercise routines, watching what you eat, keeping you motivated.

Turn to social media. Ask your friends to keep you accountable.
