Just like moms, dads don't need expensive presents on Father's Day. As a matter of fact, there are some great things you can get your pop without spending much at all!
Give your dad a little break. Maybe he's been working hard not only for his job but around the house. Give him a day off from everything. You could even go out of your way and mow the lawn for him.
Give your dad family time. Maybe your dad works a lot. Maybe he has to travel a lot. Maybe all he wants is to be with his family this weekend. Go for a walk. Grill together in the back yard. Possibly work together on something he wants to do (ie. putting up those shelves in the garage he keeps putting off)
Share a nice meal or snack. Nothing is nicer than having someone else prepare a meal for you. And no, it doesn't have to be a fancy feast. Dad would be thrilled with a nice snack and cold drink.
Give him a day of zero responsibilities. Who doesn't want that?
Plan a date. This could be one-on-one time with you and your dad. You could also encourage your mom and dad to have a date night, or date lunch.
