Christmas Trends We'll See This Year

COVID-19 is effecting everything this year. And we'll see a difference in Christmas trends too, from decorations to gift ideas and more. This is what you'll see:

Recycled materials. People will be looking for eco-friendly décor and even wrapping presents in fabric instead of paper.

Inexpensive décor. Many people will repurpose their old decorations and incorporate new but inexpensive DIY decorations.

Holiday baking. Everybody is embracing the tradition of baking together (butter sales have soared this).

Small scale celebrations. It’s no surprise that most people are going smaller rather than larger.

Farmhouse neutrals. White, black, navy, natural wood tones, and other neutrals can all look just as festive as more traditional Christmas colors.

Spending time at home. Instead of parties, cookie exchanges and other in-person gatherings, more people are searching for activities to help celebrate the holidays at home.

Nostalgic décor. This year has made us appreciate the small things, including your grandmother’s favorite Christmas ornament or your dad’s funny holiday shirt that he insists on wearing.
