When I was pregnant, I had that typical nesting syndrome. Of course, I wanted EVERYTHING out of my house. I wanted it to look like a brand new house that someone hadn't lived in yet. I know, crazy. Unrealistic. But that feeling never really went away. Even after having the twins. Even now that they're 5.
But saying is a lot easier than doing. And I've recruited my niece (she's going to college nearby, lucky me!) to help me get my house organized lately. I need help doing the big things like the garage and the kids' room, for example.
If you're doing something on your own, it may be easier to try something small. Like your linen closet. Declutter and organize in a very short time by getting rid of these items:
Old Bath Towels
Outgrown Bedding
Holiday Linens You Never Use
Mismatched Bed Sheets
Expired Toiletries
Moth-Eaten Blankets
Unnecessary Cleaning Products
And just like that, you're done! Don't you feel accomplished?
