Construction students from Sam Houston High School built five dog houses to protect pets that enjoy being outdoors. The SAISD Foundation will be hosting an online auction for the dog houses from Feb. 23 to March 23. Students were able to have a hands-on experience in residential home construction. Proceeds from the sale of the dog houses will be used to purchase building materials to give students additional construction experience. The starting bid for each dog house is $150, and additional bids will be accepted in $50 increments. The online auction is available for the next 30 days.
