Exercise regularly. You’re dependent on the muscles in the chest cave. To keep those lungs pumping strong we need to keep our muscles in shape.
Up your vitamin D. Vitamin D deficiency can cause deficits in lung function and even alter lung structure.
Work on breathing. It’s beneficial for stress reduction and can help increase lung capacity.
Get enough sleep.
Avoid unhealthy habits. Don’t smoke or vape, be mindful of exposure to fireplaces and wood burning stoves, and avoid places with poor air quality or massive crowds where you don't have space to, well, breathe.
