NBA and Wordle Fans now have Poeltl

Maybe you didn't know how to pronounce his name before, but now you will. Jacob Poeltl is yawk-ub pertle...like turtle. Or Wordle! And that comes in really handy now that Wordle and NBA fans have their own game. It's called Poeltl and some working knowledge of NBA players is required for success.

According to MySA...

"The structure of the game Poeltl is similar to the popular game that was recently purchased by the New York Times. In Wordle, a person is given five blanks to guess a five-letter word. If the letter registers as green, then that letter is in the correct place. If a letter comes back yellow, then the letter is in the mystery word, but in a different position. The gamer has six chances to guess correctly. A new puzzle presents itself daily.

In Poeltl, mystery still abounds, however the structure is slightly different. A new mystery player surfaces every day and gamers have eight guesses to name the right one. Gamers have the option to view the silhouette of the NBA player before typing their guess into the bar. After the first guess is submitted, a drop down appears full of stats, including team, position, height, age, and number. If the team column is yellow, then the mystery player at one point played for the submitted player's team, but does not currently. If the position column is yellow, then the submitted player's position is a partial match to the mystery player of the day. If yellow appears in any other column, then the mystery player's true attribute is within two inches, years or numbers of the submitted NBA star."

Have fun!
