‘Say Yes To The Dress’ is a guilty pleasure of mine, but dang, the money they spend on a dress! The cheap person in me just has a major problem with spending $5000+ on something they’ll only wear once. Not only am I cheap, I don’t have an extra $5K for a wedding dress anyway. So how to save some money:
*Wear a dress that has been in the family.
*Consider buying a pre-owned wedding dress.
(with both of these ↑ options you can find a good seamstress to alter it to your liking.)
*Rent a wedding dress.
*Shop a sample sale or buy off the rack.
*Buy a dress that isn't a wedding dress.
