The last week of March means Fiesta, First Friday, and so much more! Check out this week's roundup of top events.
Fiesta San Antonio. This Thursday kicks off the 10-day city celebration of Fiesta, one of the nation's premier festivals, including food, live music, medal parties, performances, fitness events, and more.
Tejano Explosion 2022. The unofficial downtown Fiesta event featuring the best Tejano artists like Ramon Ayala, Michael Salgado, Los Palominos, Ricky Naranjo, A.B. Quintanilla y Los Kimbia Allstarz, Jay Perez, and many more from March 31-April 9.
Cesar Chavez Day Celebration @ San Fernando Ballroom (Thursday). A celebration benefitting the Cesar E. Chavez Legacy and Educational Foundation featuring entertainment by DJ Plata, Little Joe y La Familia, and Los Callejeros.
GiGi Goode @ Bonham Exchange (Thursday). Drag performer and former RuPaul's Drag Race contestant GiGi Goode is performing two shows in the legendary Bonham Ballroom.
Pixar Putt. The ultimate Pixar mini-golf pop-up made up of 18 interactive holes by the stories and characters of Toy Story, Finding Nemo, Coco, and more, will be open until May 15 starting this Friday.
311 @ Majestic Theatre (Friday). Genre-bending rock band 311 will be performing on the Majestic Theatre stage for their Spring Tour. Limited tickets remain.
Texas Author Series: Reyna Grande @ The Latino Bookstore (Friday). Guadalupe Cultural Art Center's Latino Bookstore and Gift Shop is launching a new author spotlight series starting with best-selling author Reyna Grande and her new novel A Ballad of Love and Glory.
First Friday. An art walk, live music, and more to celebrate the new month of April.
Fat Gator Music Festival @ Texas Ski Ranch (Saturday). Live music by Fredo Bang, Rich Homie Quan, Beat King, Ying Yang Twins, Lil' Troy, Nook Turner, and many more. Plus, a TX beach party with Cajun flavors, a car show, carnival rides + games, water activities, and shopping. Tickets are still available!
San Antonio FC vs. Phoenix Rising FC @ Toyota Field (Saturday). The hometown soccer team returns to the pitch for Viva Night as they host out-of-town rivals Phoenix Rising FC.
Whitney Cummings @ The Tobin Center (Sunday). The hilarious multi-hyphenate behind the Good for You podcast, 2 Broke Girls, and more is bringing her Touch Me Tour to the Tobin Center stage. Tickets are still up for grabs + available.
