Worth Repeating: Pearls @ Texas Public Radio (Tuesday). TPR's live storytelling series returns with a new theme about pearls of wisdom, things that made you clutch your pearls, and other stories.

Jon Pardi @ Whitewater Amphitheater (Thursday). Due to overwhelming demand, country star Jon Pardi has added a third show to his stop at TX's top outdoor venue. We're also giving away a pair of tickets!

Black Cowboys: A Campfire Conversation @ Witte Museum (Thursday). A free celebration to honor Larry Callies and Tex Williams, two cowboys featured in the Black Cowboys: An American Story exhibition, and their tales of roping, rodeo, and the founding of the Black Cowboy Museum in Rosenberg, TX.

Künstler x Wild Barley Beer Release @ Wild Barley Kitchen Co. (Saturday). Künstler Brewing and Wild Barley Kitchen & Brewery have teamed up to create a special Dollart IPA, which they'll be tapping this weekend at the new Wild Barley location. Live music and pizza included!

Primus @ Majestic Theatre (Saturday). Alt/prog rockers Primus are paying homage to the legends of Rush with a Tribute to Kings, a cross-country tour that will feature the Bay Area trio playing Rush's classic 1977 album A Farewell to Kings in its entirety, in addition to their own music.

Lydia Lunch Retrovirus @ Paper Tiger (Sunday). A Saustex Records rager featuring openers doom metal band Witchcryer and punk band Pussy Gillette, plus punk/no wave pioneer Lydia Lunch Retrovirus.
