Warmer weather always means an increase in the number of pets coming into local shelters. That’s why San Antonio Animal Care Services (SAACS) and San Antonio Pets Alive! (SAPA!) are joining the BISSELL Pet Foundation for a marathon placement party aimed at finding homes for as many adoption-ready dogs and cats as possible. Both dogs and cats can be adopted for just $25 during Empty the Shelters which runs from May 2nd through May 15th. Adoptions at each event are first come, first served and each organization’s processes and policies apply. All pets are sterilized, vaccinated with their first round of shots, and microchipped with a free lifetime registration.
