Better Ways to Use a Formal Dining Room

I really don’t know anyone who uses their formal dining room, except for maybe holiday dinners on occasion. For the longest time, I just used it as another place to decorate for holidays, making elaborate centerpieces that I loved to look at. Then I used it as a storage room, in essence, for all my craft supplies. Now it’s the kids’ playroom because their toys were overrunning our family room. What are you doing with yours?

Turn it into a playroom

Your new home office

Create a Guest Room

Transform it into a home gym

Design a craft room

Build a recording studio

Make a library or reading room

Turn it into a lounge area or second living room

Go practical with a storage area

You Can Even Create Two Rooms if your dining room is large

Create Some Calm With an Indoor Garden

Spice up your home with a Game Room

Socialize with a Bar area
