Chest pain is the most common symptom in both men and women, females may be less likely than their male counterparts to experience such a dramatic scene. Here are symptoms to be on the look for.

Shortness of Breath

Upper Body Pain - Pain in the neck, back, jaw, teeth, arms (typically the left) and shoulder blades is a frequent symptom of heart attack in women.

Nausea, Vomiting, and Upset Stomach - females are twice as likely as males to experience nausea, vomiting, or indigestion-like symptoms, such as heartburn, while having a heart attack.
