How To Cool Down After Eating Spicy Foods

I got some of these right, but I also got some wrong.  

When your tongue is on fire:

  • Drink milk
  • Suck on a spoonful of sugar (or even salt)
  • Eat bread, crackers, or tortillas
  • Eat citrus fruit.

But DON’T:

Drink water, carbonated soda, beer, or coffee.
