Myth: Apply sunscreen every two hours.

Truth: While you still need to apply every two hours, remember that water and sweat can wash away the sunscreen meaning you may need to reapply more often.  Pay attention to the water resistance time on the bottle.

Myth: Many women are allergic to sunscreen.

Truth: Researchers have found that very few people who thought they were allergic actually are.  If it burns after you apply it, find a different brand with different ingredients.

Myth: If you spent your childhood in the sun, the damage is already done.

Truth: It's never too late to put on sunscreen.  You can still decrease your odds of skin cancer!

Myth: You don't need sunscreen indoors.

Truth: It may seem strange to think you need sunscreen indoors, but research found fluorescent bulbs emit enough UVA to cause damage to your skin.  And if you have a window in your office, you also need to protect your skin from the rays coming through the glass.
