Sculptor, painter and archaeologist George Nelson has created seven sculptures that will be unveiled in a ceremony at the Alamo. It's scheduled for 1:30pm, Monday, June 18th, by the Long Barrack.
The event is being hosted by the Alamo Trust, Inc. And huge Alamo buff Phil Collins (!!!) will be there as a special guest! Ok, he probably prefers to be called "an Alamo history enthusiast" but huge Alamo buff is more what he is.
I don't have any more information than that. I'm assuming that it's open to the public and free to attend. I mean, it's the Alamo, right? If you go, please take pictures. I'd love to see them!
