Check Out These Tennis Shoe/Boot hybrids

Have you seen San Antonio celebrity chef Jason Dady's new kicks? (do the kids even call them 'kicks' anymore?!)

Jason and local sneaker designer Jake Danklefs (who you may have heard before with his custom Spurs shoes) have been talking about a shoe design for over 2 years, but Jake wasn't sure he could pull it off since it included a lot of leather tooling, something he wasn't at all comfortable with.

But it looks like he is now! Chef Dady just posted his new "Old Town IVs" which incorporate weathered calf, ostrich and Caiman crocodile leathers on the exterior with lambskin for the insole. Yes, they were an old pair of Air Jordan IVs. They also have the chef's initials emblazoned on the back.

Jake says the estimated worth of Dady's shoes, with materials and labor, is about $2,500.
