So Children's Hospital is near and dear to my heart. Before Toddler Dominick's first birthday, he was hospitalized twice with RSV at Children's. He was having hard time fighting it and we had to stay about week for both visits. It was stressful and scary but the nurses, doctors and staff were so kind to us and gave great care to Dominick.
Its not fun to be in a hospital as an adult, so its not fun to be there as a sick kiddo. We were given books and blanket from sweet organizations to let us know we were not alone and that someone was thinking of us.
So this Valentine's Day, you can let the sick patients know they too are not alone. I promise, they will appreciate a Valentine's Day card from you. Its free too.
