Walking Can Help With Back Pain

How's your back? We've been home for a year and we haven't been sitting correctly or exercise as much as we should. Maybe your back hurt even before then. (mine has)

According to Georgetown University, around 16 million adults suffer from chronic back discomfort. Being slumped over your computer in your home office all day and not getting much movement is not ideal for your back or the rest of your body.

You'll probably want to lie down and not move. But moving actually makes your back feel better!

Researchers have found that walking regularly decreases pain and increases life quality. Walking is free, just about anyone can do it, and the health benefits are awesome. It can improve your mood, circulation, immune system, sleep quality, glucose levels, and balance. It can even lower your risk of heart disease, osteoporosis, and Alzheimer's disease.

That's because it increases circulation, is practical, and builds strong muscles.

So grab your dog, a neighbor, your favorite radio station (ahem!) and get moving!
