Can y'all believe the second half of the year is officially here? The first full week of July offers art, a few fests, live music, and so much more. 

Jesus Christ Superstar @ Majestic Theatre. From Tuesday to Sunday, the iconic musical phenomenon Jesus Christ Superstar is celebrating its 50th anniversary with a mesmerizing new production.

43 CineFestival @ Guadalupe Theater. San Antonio's original Latinx film festival returns on July 6-10 at the historic Guadalupe Theater featuring 85 films from local, regional, national, and international filmmakers. 

Joe Vann @ 502 Bar (Thursday). Indie-rock singer-songwriter Joe Vann (From Indian Lakes) will be debuting his new solo LP, Found In The Smoke, an emo-meets-outlaw Americana love letter.

Art Collecting Mixer @ Cherrity Bar (Friday). A gallery-style open house featuring fresh visual art experiences plus networking opportunities for artists and existing collectors. Sounds by Mike C. Perez and Joshua K. Swensen.

SACA Barrio Block Party: Chancla Fest @ San Anto Cultural Arts (Friday). After a two-year hiatus, the annual San Anto Cultural Arts Barrio Block Party returns for a free evening of art, music, vendors, and activities, plus a Chancla Throwing Contest.

Isle of Dogs: Screening + Adoption Event @ Confluence Park (Friday). Slab Cinema's Wes Anderson film festival continues with a free screening of Isle of Dogs plus an adoption event with SNIPSA.

F.R.I.D.A. Fest @ Rolling Oaks Mall. A free two-day one-of-a-kind community celebration featuring two stages of music, a handmade artisan mercado, fashion, music, culinary traditions, and more.

The Reverend Horton Heat @ Paper Tiger (Saturday). Psychobilly trio The Reverend Horton Heat returns to the Paper Tiger main stage with special guest Hickoids. 

Josh Abbott Band @ John T. Floore Country Store (Saturday). Texas-based alt-country group the Josh Abbott Band is bringing the Real Damn Good Tour to the iconic Floore's outdoor stage.
