What's Happening In San Antonio This Week - 9/12/22

Worth Repeating: Awkward @ Malú and Carlos Alvarez Theater (Tuesday). The return of Texas Public Radio's storytelling event Worth Repeating featuring community members' tales around the theme Awkward.

Hadestown @ Majestic Theatre. From September 13th-18th, the Tony-winning Best Musical featuring a hell-raising journey to the underworld and back, written by celebrated singer-songwriter Anaïs Mitchell, will be playing on the historic Majestic stage.

Daddy Yankee @ AT&T Center (Wednesday). Global music icon Daddy Yankee is retiring from the spotlight but not without La Ultima Vuelta (The Last Round) Tour.

Taco Rumble @ San Antonio Museum of Art (Thursday). A sizzling competition between an all-star crew of Texas' best taqueros and chefs, plus a selection of sweet treats, wines, craft beer, and premium spirits tastings.

The Mountain Goats @ Paper Tiger (Thursday). Indie/folk rock outfit The Mountain Goats is returning to the PT main stage with special guests Sweeping Promises.

El Grito San Antonio 2022. A three-day event to celebrate Mexico's Independence plus kick-off to Hispanic Heritage Month including food booths, artisans, entertainment, and more.

Ms. Pat @ Laugh Out Loud Comedy Club. Comedian, author, radio host, podcaster, and actress Patricia Williams aka Ms. Pat, known to be "unforgiving and darkly hilarious", will be performing five shows over a weekend at LOL. 

The Oak Ridge Boys @ The Backyard Amphitheater (Friday). Country's vocal harmony supergroup Oak Ridge Boys are bringing their Front Porch Singin' Tour to the TX Hill Country's premier live music venue for one night only.

Rammstein @ Alamodome (Saturday). After a two-year reschedule, Germany's fiery heavy metal band Rammstein is finally landing at the Alamodome this Saturday.

4th Anniversary Party @ Roadmap Brewing Co. (Saturday). An exclusive celebration featuring special pours, music, food, and endless good times. 21+ only.
