Congratulations to Boerne High School! They won won $15,000 in band equipment from the band Metallica, in a contest challenging college and high school bands to incorporate their music into a performance.
They weren't the only winners. Auburn University, Eastern New Mexico University, Dobyns-Bennett High School (TN), Malverne High School (NY), and Oakton High School (VA) also won as well.
Boerne's Mighty Greyhound Band performed a four-minute medley of songs including, “For Whom the Bell Tolls,” “Enter Sandman,” “Fade to Black,” “Seek and Destroy,” and “Master of Puppets.” You can see it here!
